Kransberg lies in the eastern Hintertaunus at 250 to 320 metres above sea level, surrounded by the deciduous woods of the Hochtaunus nature park. The former health resort is around 25 km north of Frankfurt am Main.

In our Finnish grill kota up to 10 people can share a barbecue evening with a direct view of the castle. Outside there is a second fire pit and covered seating, and a toilet block is attached.
As the evenings grow longer and cooler, the crackling fire brings campfire warmth – the kota reaches a comfortable temperature quickly. We only let it in combination with an overnight stay.
Rates: €80 on weekdays, €110 at weekends, public holidays on request. Times by arrangement.

Need a function room? In the “Wolfskeller” you are your own host for an evening: bring your own food and drinks – the most affordable way to celebrate with a crowd.
The Wolfskeller consists of two adjoining rooms. One with a rustic vaulted ceiling, a long bar, corner bench and sideboard; the second bright through its glazed ceiling, with freely arrangeable tables and a projector screen. Toilets are directly attached.
Around 70 m² for about 25 people. Rates: from €150 per day, €40 cleaning fee, €25 tableware hire. Special conditions for overnight guests.
